Body TuneUp School of Massage Therapy is the longest running massage school in San Joaquin County. We offer a variety of massage therapy techniques for the inquisitive beginner through the advanced professional. Body TuneUp began in 1984 in Stockton California; we are locally owned and active within the community. Our focus is on students and their massage education advancement. Our small class sizes, flexible day, evening, and weekend class schedules combined with a non-test environment help students to excel while leaving more time for hands-on study and practice.
At Body TuneUp, students learn in 300-500 hours what other schools teach in 600-1000 hours. We offer competitive class pricing that will save you money. Students and staff consist of practicing massage therapists, nursing practitioners, and acupuncturists. Michael Eakin, director and founder of the school, has traveled the world to improve his technique while acquiring additional skills to offer students. At Body TuneUp, our state- of-the-art curriculum combined with hands on practice provides students an advanced massage technique geared toward careers in the new millennium. Michael’s unique and interactive teaching method allows for a high success rate of employment upon completion of classes.
Michael is passionate about his school making for a warm, inviting, and above all fun learning environment. Some students have come from as far away as Europe and Asia to train with Michael.
